HOW DO I BOOK A RIDE with Community Care-A-Vans, Inc.?

Our staff is on duty daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to book, schedule, and confirm your travel plans and "Ready Times"... provided a van; minibus or sedan is available at your preferred Ready Time. If we're at capacity and an alternative day or time cannot be negotiated, a non-guaranteed standby reservation may be offered, or your trip may be denied. Our staff will work with you and make every effort to serve your needs.

Please remember that we take requests during these hours, two days in advance. For next day service, we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

WHEN SHOULD I CALL TO BOOK A RIDE?

Reservations are accepted one to two days in advance of the day of your ride. We do not provide same-day emergency service. Please remember to gather your origin and destination addresses and phone numbers before calling us.

WHAT ARE YOUR DAYS AND HOURS OF SERVICE?

Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. through 5:00pm daily. We can also provide early morning; evening and weekend service and holidays are available as well. Just call and request a reservation and we will do our best to meet your needs.

You will be picked up within 15 minutes after the Time is negotiated. You must board our vehicle within five minutes of arrival at your pick-up location. If you aren't ready, the driver may need to leave without you and your trip status will be recorded as a "no show."

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

We provide transportation privately and also under contract with several agencies and organizations. Fares within our service area are based upon the travel distance and time allotted for staff providing this trip each way. We have a variety of grant funds from various entities (City of Attleboro, HESSO Elder Services, and Bristol Elder Services), which can subsidize the cost of your trip. Please contact us for the eligibility criteria for each source of funds. Donations are gladly accepted as well.
